Flying through February

It’s been a fun and crazy 6 straight weeks of teams…but I have especially enjoyed the 4 surgical teams.   ENT x 2, General, Urology, and GYN have done an excellent job of caring for our patients.   The even greater news is that my parents are here hanging out with us and playing with Magdalena, which has made time fly and been an encouragement all around.  We’ve also enjoyed having TiTi Cora in town for a few weeks.

Mom came to the clinic with me yesterday to be a support in Pre-Op and enjoyed coloring pages with some of our little guys.  Below is a photo (permission was given from this family) of her with one of our patients.

Magdalena has enjoyed all the attention from her grandparents and Titi Cora as well, going for daily walks in her stroller, “helping” to cook,  and learning new words and songs every day.   It seems that we laugh more and more at her funny dramatic little stories and songs.

Prayers requests would be for continued unity during this transition and also for my hand.  I’ve got either a nasty bite or an infection on my left thumb, which makes it incredibly difficult for write or type or actually do anything that I’m used to (I’m left handed!).    It’s frustrating and super painful. Please join with us in praying for fast healing!

Thanks so much for all of your support!
